Living Compassion Immersion – Asia

When we truly feel loved and accepted for who we are, there is a natural unfolding of healing and growth. This does not happen because we tried to heal and grow, but because unconditional self-acceptance allows a natural out-flowing of living energy, the essence of who we are.
~ Robert Gonzales

Welcome to this 9-month journey to embracing wholeness through Living Compassion in the legacy of the work of Robert Gonzales  on the spirituality of Nonviolent Communication.

What if your most difficult moments were doorways to your essential nature?

What does it mean to be a true & active channel of Life?

How can we turn toward ourselves with compassion?

Living Compassion is an invitation to live from our wholeness; to welcome every experience, joyful or painful, as an expression of our aliveness. It is a path of meeting life with an open heart, where nothing within us is cast aside, and everything becomes part of the dance of life.

The essence of Living Compassion is to:

  • Welcome all experiences without judgment, fostering a sense of wholeness.
  • Treat feelings, even uncomfortable ones, as wise messengers leading to self-discovery and growth.
  • Cultivate deeper self-awareness, inner spaciousness & fullness that allows us to show up with ‘response-ability’ in our relationships and daily life.

By listening to our emotions/experiences with compassion, we integrate hidden aspects of ourselves, unlocking creativity, connection, and a true homecoming to who we are. This in turn supports us in seeing the wholeness in others as well. In this way, Living Compassion is living in the fullness of life.

The Curriculum

Living Compassion fundamentally invites us into a paradigm shift from the duality of the comparing and projecting mind to the non-dual experience of direct contact with life as a unique happening through the body and soul. We approach this shift from three directions:

From

Toward

In one sentence

1

Lack

Wholeness

Your sense of what you are missing is a guide to what is precious in you.

2

Problem solving

Attending

Life is calling for our attention and that presence creates conditions for life’s organic harmony.

3

Blame and victimhood

Empowerment

When I fully own my whole experience, I am able to respond to life from my deepest values.

Commuter Price: 20K / 180 / $215

Our preference is for participants to stay onsite in support of ease and strengthening a shared immersive container.

And we are also offering a commuter option primarily for those who live or volunteer in Auroville and for whom the residential cost is not financially accessible / sustainable. The commuter contribution is INR 20,000 and includes all meals, tea, and snacks during the workshop days. We request that all participants – including commuters – remain together from morning until dinner each day (approximately 8:00am – 7:30 pm) to support a cohesive learning environement.

We encourage you to consider some practical aspects while making this decision:

  • Quiet is located outside the Auroville center, depending on where you stay, it means commuting would require arranging daily transport. If you don’t have one already, it would mean: Two-wheelers which is at INR 250-350 per day or autos (tuk-tuk) which is approximately 400 per trip.
  • November is also part of the peak monsoon season in Auroville, and sometimes it can pour all day with heavy rains that can make everyday commute cumbersome or difficult and two wheelers can be risky.

Staying onsite may therefore support greater ease, continuity, rest, and informal connection with fellow participants and facilitators beyond the formal workshop hours. For our collective ease, we strongly recommend you stay on the venue, even more so, if you are an outsider.
