Compassionate communication, also known as Nonviolent communication (NVC), is a practical approach to communication with oneself and others for connection and integrity whether at home, at work or in community. This workshop will explore in depth the NVC process that brings consciousness and responsibility to our experience of interacting and communicating, the art of listening for developing our capacity of empathy and self-empathy and self-compassion to shift our experience of pain towards a mindful and compassionate healing experience.
We will cover in theory and practice:
• The elements of the NVC process for self-understanding, self-expression and receiving others with understanding
• Choice in response to any situation for deeper authenticity and empowerment
• Empathy and self-compassion to hold our own experiences and those of others with care and space to increase connection and healing
