Mironel de Wilde

At the core of my life and work is exploring inner landscapes—beginning with the intimate encounter of my own mind, emotions, and soul, and expanding into a universal understanding of our common archetypes and consciousness itself. Through my teachings and films, I share my insights on living authentically, fully, and freely, with the hope of enriching lives and supporting us in creating a world that works for everyone.

My life started in a unique way: born in a wooden caravan in the north of the Netherlands, I celebrated my first birthday on a ship emigrating to Canada and then went to primary school in the UK. Growing up between cultures gave me a lot of curiosity about the variety and vastness of the earth. As a teenager, I turned inward with Tibetan Buddhism and the shamanic traditions of Canada, starting me on a mystic path that would shape my life.

When I left home, I focused on the outer journey first across Africa before heading to India in 2001, where I studied yoga and tantra. In 2003, I discovered Kashmir Shaivism—a non-dual approach to tantra—which is now at the heart of my spirituality. Then I also made my first short documentary film that opened this creative dimension of my life, leading me to short fiction film-making since 2012.

A pivotal moment came in 2014 when I attended a Nonviolent Communication (NVC) workshop in India. For the first time, I learned how to fully feel my emotions and listen to their wisdom. As my NVC practice deepened, my spiritual focus shifted from seeking transcendence to living into wholeness. Through the work of Robert Gonzales, Living Compassion, I discovered a practical way to live non-duality in relationships and everyday life. Living non-duality, living into wholeness is a process of unveiling my innate nature. There is nothing to do to cultivate what is already the truth of my being. The work is simply to love ourselves into who we really are.

The Journey

My journey

I was born innocent, loving  and free. A great meaning of my life is to return to that core of who I am, so much obscured by experience, yet essentially never changing.
